Meet our Equine Professionals

Joe Bradner - Head Trainer

Growing up in central Virginia's horse country, Joe started riding at the age of 6. Nearby was Foxwood Farm, the then home of professional riders, Joe Fargis and Conrad Hornfeld. Joe's involvement there introduced him to the highest levels of horsemanship at an early age. As a junior rider, Joe competed in the Junior Hunter, Jumper and Equitation classes and was a Maclay finalist at Madison Square Garden, a consecutive year Equitation champion at Deep Run, as well as champion in every division Junior Hunter, Jumper and Best Child Rider at the Warrenton Horse Show. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College, Joe went on to work with top trainers Don Stewart, Frank Madden, Danny Robertshaw, Tim Kees and others. As the instructor at Sag Pond Farm in Southampton, NY for 9 years, Joe engineered and accomplished all the goals of his many satisfied clients....from Leadline to the Grand Prix ring. If you are interested in leasing or purchasing a horse, Joe can assist you in finding the right mount for your or your child's riding level.
